A real presence in sportProfessional positioning
Nicoly’s work focuses on psychological development applied to sport performance.
Her approach begins with the understanding that athletic behavior does not occur in isolation. Emotions, individual patterns, environment, relationships, routine, preparation, and previous experiences all influence how an athlete trains, competes, responds to mistakes, and makes decisions under pressure.
For this reason, her work goes beyond ready-made techniques or generic guidance. Each process begins by understanding how that athlete functions and what development is genuinely needed at that moment.
Science to understand. Presence to contextualize. Strategy to develop.
Integrated background
Nicoly’s background brings together different fields that broaden how she understands the athlete and the context in which performance occurs.
The professional foundation for understanding behavior, emotions, relationships, development, and processes of change.
Specialized study focused on the psychological demands of training, competition, preparation, and an athletic career.
Study of processes related to attention, learning, regulation, decision-making, and human performance.
Additional education focused on people, relationships, behavior, and development across different contexts.
A field that is part of her personal and academic path, expanding her reflection on purpose, values, and human development.
Over the past several years, Nicoly has also expanded her academic and language education in the United States, developing professional fluency in English and a broader perspective on sport, culture, and human behavior.
Athlete Analyst
Athlete Analyst grew from the observation that many athletes recognize what happens during competition but still struggle to understand why certain patterns repeat and how to develop different responses.
Anxiety, urgency, self-criticism, loss of focus, difficulty recovering, and inconsistency should not be explained only as a lack of confidence or mental strength.
They need to be examined within each athlete’s individual functioning, emotional system, and sporting context.
In response to that need, Nicoly developed the Performance Analysis method: a process integrating interviews, structured assessments, data, and competitive reality to turn information into clarity, priorities, and practical direction.
The product is not the assessment by itself. It is clarity applied to performance.
How Nicoly works
She looks for patterns, relationships, and contributing factors before reaching a conclusion.
She considers the sport, history, competitive moment, environment, objectives, and specific needs.
She translates psychological information and data into language the athlete can understand and use.
She turns findings into priorities, actions, and experiments that can be applied in training, competition, and daily routines.
Results are not presented as labels. Hypotheses are distinguished from facts, and recommendations are built by integrating different sources of information.

Presence in sport
Nicoly stays close to training environments, academies, competitions, and sporting events.
In these settings, she observes how pressure, decisions, communication, and relationships influence performance beyond what is said.
Her experience includes jiu-jitsu, MMA, wrestling, gymnastics, softball, and multisport contexts.
More context for an analysis grounded in the athlete’s reality.
Sport experience
Sport has always been part of Nicoly’s path.
Her own sporting background includes volleyball, physical training, and jiu-jitsu.
This experience is not presented as her primary professional credential. It provides an additional perspective for understanding preparation, exposure, pressure, discomfort, repetition, mistakes, and the difference between knowing what to do and being able to execute under pressure.
Living sport does not replace professional education. It does help her recognize the language, environment, and demands that do not always appear in a theoretical description.
A mother’s perspective
Her experience as the mother of a young athlete added another dimension to how Nicoly understands athletic development.
She closely observed training, preparation, competitions, expectations, frustrations, and the decisions families make while supporting a child in sport.
It reinforced the importance of balancing support and autonomy, encouragement and pressure, adult participation and the space young athletes need to build their own relationship with sport.
This perspective especially informs her work with young athletes, parents, and guardians, helping create processes that respect developmental stage, individuality, and family context.
Experience with athletes
Nicoly works with professional, competitive, amateur, and young athletes, primarily in combat sports such as jiu-jitsu and MMA.
The goal is not to apply the same model to everyone, but to understand how each athlete responds to the demands of their sport, current career stage, and environment.

Online work
Nicoly provides online services in Portuguese and English, working with athletes across different countries and sporting contexts.
Interviews, feedback sessions, and ongoing sessions are held online while preserving individualization, confidentiality, and continuity.
This format makes it possible to understand the athlete within their own routine while staying connected to real situations in training, competition, and preparation.
What athletes can expect
The athlete has room to speak, while each session also has an objective, analysis, and next action.
Nicoly explains what is being observed, why it matters, and how it may appear in performance.
Results, hypotheses, and recommendations are distinguished. Conclusions are not presented when the information does not support them.
Tools are selected according to how the athlete functions and the reality they face.
The process is adjusted according to the athlete’s response and the situations that emerge.
The work aims to strengthen the athlete’s ability to recognize patterns and use strategies without creating dependence.
Professional principles
Science guides the work without claims that go beyond what can be supported.
No score or behavior is interpreted outside the athlete’s history and reality.
The athlete is not treated as a generic profile or fixed category.
Every relevant finding needs to create understanding, focus, or a possible action.
Sessions, responses, reports, and personal information are treated confidentially.
